Meet The Team

Anna Li

Co-Founder, Catskill Concierge and Upstate Place

A past life in fashion and home magazines gave Anna everything she needs to bring out the best in the various styles and architecture of our Catskill and Hudson Valley homes. Her main role is to deliver a fantastic experience for guests and owners and provide the best hospitality possible. Ask her about: cakes, crime fiction (especially Scandi) and cocktails.

Alan Li

Co-Founder, Catskill Concierge and Upstate Place

A former technology services executive with extensive experience in start-ups and large service organizations, Alan overseas the daily operations (and overnight emergency supervision) of the entire group. He’s into strategy, implementation of processes, and data. Ask him about: biking trails, where to go for the best dim sum (it’s far), and ski-ing.

Sonya Sharp

Director of Finance and Human Resources

While Sonya manages accounting analysis, financial forecasting and HR regulations, (all very definitive and rational), she is also the clever creative who first came up with the idea for Upstate Place. It took her 2 tries to persuade us. Thankfully, she’s persistent. Ask her about: concerts at Bethel Woods, tasting room tours, and hot tubs!

Sabrina Everitt

Manager of Design, Onboarding, and Company Branding

An interior design devotee, Sabrina has superb taste, a keen eye, and can spot a trend a mile away. She was previously our Housekeeping Manager and therefore knows the tremendous work it takes to consistently deliver a spotless and stylish home. In addition to onboarding new properties, she looks after branding and marketing opportunities. Ask her about: restaurants, karate-chopped pillows, and being the only human we know who has trapped themselves in a bear proof bin.

Thomas Macowski

STR Project and Regulatory Lead

A skilled carpenter, Thomas knows a thing or two about turning solid unwieldy objects into something beautiful and useful. He is therefore the perfect person to navigate the complex world of permits, codes and local regulatory issues. He is also adept at sorting through the mechanical and technological challenges of upstate houses and conforming them to deliver an urban level of comfort and reliability. Ask him about: scenic drives, the best local breweries, and getting decent Wi-Fi.

Cyndi Sharp

Vendor and Handyman Services Manager

It’s no exaggeration to say that that Cyndi saves houses every day. And while she doesn't wear a cape, she is the person to coordinate our inspectors, handymen, outside service vendors and specialist help. There isn’t a termite, failing sump pump or rusty pipe in the 3,577 square miles she oversees that can rest easy; she’s the Grand Dame of Damage Mitigation. Ask her about: antiques, ice cream and being a diagraphophile.

Aedan Roach

Technology, Revenue and Optimization Specialist

While much of our success in short term vacation rentals hinges on delivering a high level of hospitality, we will argue it is also determined by having a thorough knowledge of numbers, algorithms, and symbolic algebraic computations. We don’t really know how, but he manages to price homes at exactly the right spot, and maneuver their online positioning to the top of every OTA’s results page. It’s nerd magic and he’s a wizard. Ask him about: statistics, 3D printers, and football.

Shelby Ardizzone

Supervisor, Estate and Guest Services Ulster Office

Shelby oversees the smooth operation of homes in the massive geographical area of the eastern Catskills and Hudson Valley. She has a logistical mind, is incredibly organized, folds sheets like they are origami, and can smell a dead mouse through three rows of cinder block. Ask her about: plants (she has a very green thumb), the best route to anywhere, and emergencies (she’s a volunteer responder).

Nicholle Parsells

Supervisor, Estate and Guest Services Sullivan Office

As a military spouse, being used to fixing things herself, there’s very few property issues that would leave Nicholle at a loss. She runs the housekeeping department of three southern Catskill counties with Patton like precision and there’s rarely a stain that can get past her inspection. Ask her about: horses, movies, and breaker boxes (she uniquely understands them).
